Helping Residents Pursue Their Academic Goals
The Douglas W. Masson Memorial Scholarship is an annual scholarship awarded to residents of Affirmed Housing communities throughout California. The scholarship is open to Affirmed Housing residents pursuing community college degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, PHDs, vocational education and GEDs.
Eligibility
- Must be a resident of an Affirmed Housing community
- Must be a High School senior or older pursuing a higher education degree
- Must be intending to use the scholarship funds for the upcoming academic year

Douglas W. Masson
The Douglas W. Masson Memorial Scholarship is named in honor and memory of Douglas Masson; owner and founder of Masson & Associates, Inc., a civil design firm based in San Diego County, California. Doug was a business associate and longtime friend of Affirmed Housing.
